Inspired by Hebrews 3:1, “Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, CONSIDER JESUS, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession:”
If you read my blog much, you know I don’t drift toward poetry – ever! But I just felt in my spirit tonight to ask you to please CONSIDER MY JESUS! Don’t be too harsh on me…it is my first poem!
Consider Jesus, before the world began. (John 1:1)
Consider Jesus, as the forsaken Son of Man. (Mark 9:31)
Consider Jesus, came down as one of us. (John 1:14)
Consider Jesus, God now living in us. (1 Cor. 3:16)
Consider Jesus, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
Consider Jesus, for our sins He was bruised. (Is. 53:5)
Consider Jesus, Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. (Is. 53:3)
Consider Jesus, our soon coming Prince of Peace. (Is. 9:6)
Consider Jesus, seated on His throne. (Hebrews 1:3)
Consider Jesus, seated, His work is done.
Consider Jesus, who knocks at your heart’s door. (Rev. 3:20)
Consider Jesus, our Savior adore!
